Job summary

Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) invites applications for faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in Process Systems Engineering (PSE). The department seeks researchers who will advance sustainable chemical and energy processes through systems-level research and education.

The successful candidate will contribute to a vibrant research environment, develop a research group, supervise PhD students, and teach at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
• A demonstrated commitment to high-quality research and education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an internationally visible research program in PSE.
• Teach Bachelor’s and Master’s courses in chemical engineering and related programs.
• Supervise PhD students and postdoctoral researchers and mentor staff.
• Secure external funding and collaborate with industry.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration within TU/e and across departments.
