Job summary

Booston BV in de regio Rotterdam zoekt een enthousiaste productiemedewerker. Je volgt directe training terwijl je werkt, krijgt een buddy en werkt in een driewachtsysteem. In het eerste jaar stap je over naar de opdrachtgever.

Het werkgebied ligt nabij Rotterdam, waarbij verplaatsing op elk shift tijdstip noodzakelijk is. De uitvoering is lange termijn met groei- en doorgroeimogelijkheden en volledig betaalde training.

Qualifications

• Goede mondelinge beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels
• Beschikbaar voor ochtend-, middag- en nachtdiensten
• In staat om zelfstandig naar de werkplek te reizen op alle diensttijden
• Bereid om nieuwe vaardigheden te leren
• Positieve en gemotiveerde houding
• Ervaring in productie is niet vereist
• Je krijgt een buddy die je helpt bij het leren van de functie

Responsibilities

• Inspecteren van eindproducten op kwaliteit en defecten
• Verwerken en verpakken van producten
• Goederen voorbereiden voor de volgende productie stap
• Productiefiguren en afval registreren
• Grondstoffen en verpakkingen aanvullen
• Productieproblemen melden
• Zorgdragen voor een schone en veilige werkomgeving
• Samenwerken met het team om de productie op schema te houden

Job description

Samenvatting

Start a career in production without needing previous experience. You will be trained on the job by an experienced colleague who will show you the work step by step. The training is fully paid, you work in a rotating 3-shift schedule and your weekends are always free. After twelve months, you move directly onto a contract with the client. Good work!

Over de functie

As a Production Worker, you help keep a safe and efficient production line running. You check the quality of the products, handle and pack finished items and make sure everything is prepared correctly for the next stage.

During your shift, you monitor the process closely and respond when something does not look right. You replenish materials, record production figures and report any problems or irregularities you notice. You also help keep the work area and machines clean and safe.

You do not need to know the job before you start. You will receive paid internal training and work closely with a dedicated buddy during your first period. This way, you can learn the machines, procedures and safety rules in practice.

What will you be doing?

• Inspecting finished products for quality and defects
• Processing and packing products
• Preparing goods for the next production stage
• Recording production figures and waste
• Replenishing materials and packaging
• Reporting production issues or abnormalities
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Working with your team to keep production on schedule

Shift schedule

You will work in a rotating 3-shift system.

• 5 morning shifts: 06:00 to 14:00
• 5 afternoon shifts: 14:00 to 22:00
• On Fridays, the afternoon shift continues until 00:00
• 4 night shifts: 22:00 to 06:00

Once your final night shift ends at 06:00 on Friday morning, your weekend starts. You remain off until Monday at 14:00, when you begin the next afternoon shift.

The workplace is located close to Rotterdam. Because of the shift times, you must be able to travel independently to work at all hours.

You will join a professional production company in the Rotterdam region where safety, quality and teamwork are central to the daily operation.

New employees receive proper training and support so they can learn the different tasks and eventually work independently. You will become part of a fixed production team where colleagues work together to achieve the daily production targets.

This is a long-term opportunity. The company invests in employees who want to learn, grow and stay with the business. After one year through Carrière, you will transfer directly to the client’s payroll.

• Available for morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Able to travel independently to the workplace at all shift times

• Production experience is not required

Wat wij bieden

• €18.11 gross per hour, including 20% shift allowance and ADV allowance
• 1 hour of break time per day, of which 30 minutes is paid by the employer
• An average of 38 working hours per week
• Fully paid on-the-job training

• A direct contract with the client after one year
• €0.23 per kilometre travel allowance
• 25 days of annual leave and 8% holiday allowance
