Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Production Leader who will function as the Value Stream Manager for major production operations at our Enschede site in the Netherlands. You will balance short-term productivity with long-term vision, and drive continuous improvement in a site-based role.

As a member of the site leadership team you will lead cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, HR, R&D, and finance, and you will build the infrastructure to deliver sustainable results through the value streams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful operations leadership experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong business acumen connecting customer needs, processes, and supplier capabilities.
• Expertise in Lean principles and tools including VSM, 5S, Standard Work, Continuous Flow, and transactional Lean; RCCM/8D/DMAIC.
• Proven project management capability to lead multiple priorities with planning, execution and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent coaching and change-management skills to influence across organization.

Job Description

Production Leader Pentair currently has an opening for a Production Leader who will function as the Value Stream Manager for the major production operations value streams on our site. This role is site based in Enschede, The Netherlands. In this role, you will balance short-term productivity with long-term vision, focus on investment and continuous improvement, as well as managing operational compliance and organizational fit for purpose. As a key member of the site leadership team you will also be responsible and accountable for building the infrastructure and capacity to deliver a continuously improving product or service for the lifetime of the value stream. The role demands a change agent mindset where execution and tracking of daily performance management, effective short and long term issue resolution, and sponsorship of continuous improvement projects, all enable you to deliver sustainable, tangible results. This position is a leadership role with operational group leaders and staff functions as direct reports and a key collaborative cross functional role in interaction with supply chain, HR, R&D, finance etc. Thus people leadership experience is key and demonstrated cross functional leadership experience is critical.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful operations leadership experience with a proven track record of delivering sustainable results in fast-paced environments.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect customer needs, business processes, and supplier capabilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean principles and tools, including VSM, 5S, Standard Work, Continuous Flow, and Transactional Lean, combined with advanced problem-solving methodologies such as RCCM, 8D, and DMAIC.
• Proven project management capability, able to lead multiple priorities simultaneously through effective planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement.
• Highly effective coach and facilitator with strong organizational, team-building, communication, and change management skills, able to influence at all levels of the organization.

We will

Pentair is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent pay practices in line with the EU Pay Directive. For this full-time position working at this location, theindicativeannualized base salary range will be from € 6.000,- - € 8.500,- gross per month. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position, including experience, training, pertinent educationand qualifications, work location, any relevant provisions of applicable collective agreementsand other relevant business or organizational needs. Whilst we include an indicative pay range to provide information for you to consider, more detailed information as to your salary will be provided should an offer be made to you, once the company has a better understanding of your skills, qualifications and experience. Additional components of the overall reward package will also be discussed during the recruitment process and will be confirmed to you, which may include, annual incentive bonus. Travel

Travel will be at a minimum as the position is site centric (10% to 15% Maximum), however, there may-be a need for cross segment / business unit / site activity as and when required.
