Job summary

MANUS is seeking a Production Engineer to act as the technical bridge between R&D and the production floor. You will own the process of identifying and resolving technical issues at their source, driving continuous improvement, and translating lessons into clear documentation.

You will help prevent recurring issues, enhance efficiency, and support R&D in designing manufacturable products. The role offers a collaborative, high-tech environment and opportunities to impact manufacturing maturity.

Qualifications

• Technical background in electronics or mechatronics manufacturing.
• Experience in production process optimization and troubleshooting.
• Able to write and maintain technical production documentation.
• Comfortable working at the intersection of engineering and production.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the technical bridge between R&D and production.
• Analysing and resolving technical product issues directly on the production floor.
• Identifying root causes of production problems and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Developing and maintaining clear technical documentation, work instructions, and standards.
• Translating R&D designs into robust and manufacturable production processes.
• Supporting production teams with technical expertise and training where needed.
• Preventing recurring issues by standardising solutions and embedding learnings into processes.
• Collaborating closely with R&D to optimise product design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Monitoring production performance and proactively identifying areas for optimisation.
