As a Food Production Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more and more aspects of the production process. From packing cookies to keeping machines running and resolving minor technical issues. No two days have to be the same.

Função

You will start as a Production Worker in the packaging department. This is an important starting point, as it gives you the opportunity to get to know the company and the production process well. Most of the packaging process is automated, but you will keep a close eye on everything to make sure it runs smoothly. In the event of a malfunction, you may need to temporarily pack the cookies by hand to keep production running.

Once you have mastered the packaging process, your role will become more varied. You may work on the chocolate line, where chocolate pieces for the cookies are produced, or in the area where ingredients are combined to make the dough. These processes are highly automated, making the work less physically demanding.

You will also play an important role on the production line. You will replenish packaging materials, make sure the line continues to run smoothly, and learn how to operate the machines. If something goes wrong, you will be able to resolve minor technical issues yourself. So, one day you might be working with chocolate or dough, while the next you could be making sure a machine keeps running smoothly.

And your development doesn’t stop there. From this position, there are various opportunities to progress into other roles, such as Operator, Line Supervisor, Case Packer, Oven Operator, or Palletizer. You will also have the opportunity to obtain a forklift or reach truck certificate.

The shift schedule is as follows:

Morning shift: 06:00 and 06:30 – 39% shift allowance
Evening shift: 18:30–22:00 – 38% shift allowance
Night shift: 39% shift allowance for the entire shift
