Job summary

Mansource is seeking a Production Coordinator – Steel Construction (Junior & Senior) to oversee the technical preparation and coordination of offshore steel projects. You translate engineering documentation into practical production plans, ensuring workshop activities are safe, efficient and compliant with quality standards.

You will prepare MTOs, coordinate workshop drawings, support procurement, and align construction methods and schedules with engineering, production and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education at MBO or HBO level (vocational or bachelor's) in a related field.
• Affinity with steel construction, offshore fabrication or heavy construction; knowledge of drawings, materials and fabrication processes.
• Junior level: technical knowledge and interest in production preparation; internships or experience in production/project environment are a plus.
• Senior level: several years of relevant experience in production preparation within steel construction, offshore or heavy fabrication; experience in progress monitoring and budget control.
• Strong Dutch and English communication, with a structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach.

As a Production Coordinator – Steel Construction, you are responsible for the technical preparation and coordination of complex steel construction projects within the offshore sector. You translate engineering documentation into practical production plans, ensuring that workshop activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality standards. You work closely with engineering, production, procurement, suppliers and subcontractors. This position is open to both junior and senior professionals, with responsibilities tailored to your experience.

Requirements:

• Completed technical education at MBO or HBO level (vocational or bachelor's degree), preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
• Affinity with steel construction, offshore fabrication or heavy construction, with knowledge of technical drawings, materials and fabrication processes.
• Junior level: Technical knowledge and an interest in production preparation; relevant internships or experience in a production or project environment are an advantage.
• Senior level: Several years of relevant experience in production preparation within steel construction, offshore or heavy fabrication, including experience in project progress monitoring and budget control.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, combined with a structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach, are essential for both levels.
