Objective of the job
The Production Coordinator is responsible for:
- Improve and optimize production and operational processes through structured analysis and projects
- Drive automation and digitalization to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
- Ensure smooth execution of weekly production planning and operational coordination
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Analyze production and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
- Map processes using structured methods (e.g., flowcharts, VSM, SIPOC)
- Lead improvement initiatives and implement process optimizations
- Identify and implement automation opportunities (Excel, ERP, VBA)
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (delivery, output, lead time, errors)
- Perform weekly production planning based on MPS demand
- Create and manage production orders, routers, and logistics labels
- Coordinate material readiness and production flow
- Manage shipping and receiving of production orders and goods
- Maintain accurate production documentation and update when changes occur
- Ensure data accuracy in ERP systems (Exact Globe / e-Synergy)
- Support digital and automation projects within operations
- Promote continuous improvement mindset within the team
Requested profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or similar
- 1 - 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, production, or operations
- Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables; VBA preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems (Exact Globe / e-Synergy is a plus)
- Knowledge of process mapping and improvement methodologies
- Understanding of Lean principles and root cause analysis
- Strong analytical and structured thinking
- Hands-on, proactive, and execution-driven
- Able to balance operational tasks and improvement projects
- High attention to detail and ownership
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
