Job description

Wat je gaat doen

Large presses, metal components and a production process in which every step matters. As a production worker, you will work in the heart of the pressing department and learn the production process from the ground up. You will start with clearly defined tasks. You will make sure the correct materials are loaded into the press, remove the finished components from the machine and check the results. If everything meets the required standards, you will carefully package the products and prepare them for further processing or shipment. As you gain experience, you will learn more about the machines and the production process. Once you have mastered the basics, you can learn new tasks and take on more responsibility. The aim is to help you develop into an operator in the pressing department.

You will start on the day shift and receive proper training. To continue developing in this role, you must be willing to work shifts in the future.

• Supplying materials and loading them into industrial presses;
• Inspecting products and identifying any defects or deviations;
• Packaging products and preparing them for further processing or shipment;
• Learning to operate different machines and use various techniques within the pressing department;
• Gradually taking on more of the responsibilities associated with an operator role.

You will work for a manufacturing company in Varsseveld, near Doetinchem, where various metal products are manufactured and processed. The company uses powerful presses, different production techniques and partially automated processes. Teamwork, quality and keeping production running smoothly are important on the shop floor. You will work alongside experienced colleagues who know the machines and processes well and will support you during your training. Personal development is also important. If you show that you are eager to learn, you will have the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge and gradually take on more responsibility within production. The location in Varsseveld is easily accessible from Doetinchem, Aalten, Lichtenvoorde, Ulft and Terborg, among other places.
