Job summary

STUDIOVEGTER in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Product Manager Footwear to lead production across international ateliers, with a focus on quality, lead times and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with Product Development, Buying, Logistics, and suppliers, acting as the bridge between the Amsterdam HQ and Portugal production partners. Fluency in English and willingness to travel are essential.

Amsterdam | Frequent travel to Portugal

STUDIOVEGTER is looking for an experienced Product Manager Footwear for a successful international fashion company based in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and improving footwear production across international ateliers, with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship, lead times, cost and operational excellence. You will work closely with Product Development, Buying, Logistics, technical teams and suppliers, and act as an important link between the Amsterdam HQ and production partners in Portugal.

Your role

You will oversee production performance and capacity, safeguard quality standards and technical specifications, negotiate costs and drive continuous improvement. You will also contribute to new product development, sourcing and the onboarding of new ateliers.

About You

You bring 5-10 years of experience in product or production management, within footwear, high-end menswear or a related premium fashion environment. You have strong technical product knowledge, understand manufacturing and craftsmanship, and are comfortable working directly with factories and suppliers.

You are analytical, hands-on, commercially aware and a strong communicator. Fluency in English and willingness to travel frequently to Portugal are essential.
