Job summary

4PS is seeking a Product Manager Finance to own the vision and roadmap for the Finance domain within 4PS Construct. You will translate market needs into scalable software and work with customers, consultants, and developers to deliver value.

You balance customer needs with product strategy and technical feasibility, drive market research, and take ownership of financial solutions across the product portfolio. The role offers hybrid work from Ede with a home-working allowance.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years in product management within ERP/software environments.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes (GL, budgeting, cost control, reporting).
• Experience with ERP solutions, preferably Dynamics 365 BC.

You are the link between users, technology, and the internal organisation, translating market needs into solutions while contributing to the company’s strategic objectives.

As Product Manager Finance at 4PS, you combine financial expertise with strategic product management. You dive into the challenges our customers face, keep up with developments in finance, and translate these insights into smart software solutions within 4PS Construct. You work closely with customers, consultants, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure our financial solutions continue to meet the evolving needs of the market.

You are responsible for the vision, development, and continuous improvement of the Finance domain within our software. It is a role where you constantly balance customer needs, product strategy, and technical possibilities.

Our product: 4PS Construct

Our product, 4PS Construct, is an ERP solution for companies in the construction, installation, and project-based industries. Thousands of users rely on our software every day to efficiently manage their projects, processes, and financial administration.

To make our software practical and efficient for all end users, we have developed various solutions that are fully integrated with 4PS Construct. These include web portals, apps, and visual planning modules that can be used across different devices. In short, a complete end-to-end solution.

Finance plays a crucial role within this solution. As Product Manager Finance, you ensure that our financial solutions continue to meet customer needs, respond to market developments, and address future challenges within the industry.

What challenges will you take on?

• You are responsible for the strategic development, launch, and continuous improvement of our financial solutions.
• You help shape the product vision and manage the roadmap for the Finance domain.
• You regularly engage with customers, key users, Controllers, and Finance Managers to understand their needs and identify developments in the market.
• You translate complex financial challenges into scalable software solutions.
• You identify opportunities for new functionality and improvements across the product portfolio.
• Within 4PS, you collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including developers, consultants, marketing, support, and management.
• Together with the development team, you ensure that product concepts and solutions are successfully brought to life.
• You balance customer needs with scalability, maintainability, and the overall product strategy.
• As the product expert, you have an in-depth understanding of your financial product portfolio.
• You prioritise ideas, development requests, and investments, creating clear focus within product development.

What do you bring as Product Manager Finance?

• At least 4 to 5 years of experience as a Product Manager within ERP, software, or business software environments.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, including accounting, general ledger, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP solutions, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience working with standard software and a strong understanding of how to balance customer needs, scalability, and long-term product strategy.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to bring structure and direction to complex challenges.
• The confidence to make decisions, set priorities, and take ownership of product decisions.
• The ability to bring together different internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Clear and persuasive communication skills, with the ability to bring others along with your vision and decisions.
• Experience as a Finance Consultant, Controller, Finance Manager, or Finance Key User is a strong advantage.
• Experience within the construction, installation, or project-based industries is an advantage.

As Product Manager Finance, you play an important role in the development of 4PS’s financial solutions. You work with a wide range of stakeholders, both within and outside 4PS. You will have the freedom and responsibility to act as an ‘internal entrepreneur’, taking ownership of your products and helping make them successful.

You conduct market research and work closely with customers to gain a thorough understanding of their needs. You define and manage the strategic product roadmap, ensuring that our solutions remain aligned with customer needs, market developments, and 4PS’s long-term strategy.

You actively participate in the development process and contribute to the successful introduction of new functionality.
