Job summary

Wärtsilä, a global leader in innovative technologies for marine and energy markets, seeks a Product Developer to turn data into engaging web applications. You’ll work across full stack with frontend, data, UX specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You’ll shape user experiences for installations worldwide, implement TDD, CI, and modern frontend architectures, and own features from development to production support while collaborating with product owners and backend teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or related field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and modern web frameworks.
• Knowledge of Cypress and/or Gherkin.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Shape the user experience of products used across hundreds of installations worldwide.
• Design and develop modern, responsive, and intuitive web applications.
• Transform complex operational and streaming data into meaningful user experiences and visualizations.
• Work closely with product owners, UX designers, backend developers, and data specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, component libraries, and development best practices.
• Ensure high application performance, accessibility, and usability.
• Take ownership of your solutions from development through deployment and production support.
• Continuously improve products through user feedback, experimentation, and innovation.
