Job summary

Action is seeking a Product Data Analyst in our Data Management department to ensure product data is accurate, complete, and reliable across systems. You’ll analyse data quality issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, Finance, IT and Data Management to implement practical improvements.

You’ll monitor data quality, maintain key article data, perform cleansing, and help define data quality rules and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related quantitative field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in product data, data management, or data quality.
• Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create and work with macros.
• Experience with SAP and Databricks.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse product data quality to ensure data is accurate, complete, consistent, and aligned with business requirements.
• Analyse product data and data flows between systems to identify discrepancies, missing information, incorrect records, and potential data quality risks.
• Investigate root causes of data quality issues by understanding underlying processes and coordinating solutions.
• Maintain, validate, and improve key article data across relevant business systems to ensure data integrity.
• Perform data cleansing and correction activities, including mass data corrections.
• Identify recurring data issues, analyze patterns, and translate findings into practical improvements.
• Collaborate with Data Management, IT, and other departments to resolve data challenges.
• Maintain and analyse data quality reports, dashboards, and documentation to monitor performance and inform decisions.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of data quality rules and governance procedures.
