Job summary

Octagon Professionals International is recruiting six to eight Procurement & Purchasing Officers to support ESA’s Purchase Office. Each officer handles the full Purchase Order process, enabling a comprehensive procurement career within an international organisation.

The role emphasises end-to-end PO management, collaboration with suppliers, and applying procurement best practices across ESA establishments. Hybrid work is available at ESTEC in Noordwijk, with global relocation support where

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
• Fluent English.
• Experience within ESA or a comparable international organisation.
• Professional procurement qualification, or working towards one (e.g. CIPS).

Responsibilities

• Analyse Purchase Requests and select the appropriate procurement route.
• Prepare Requests for Quotation and communicate with suppliers.
• Evaluate quotations and prepare Purchase Orders.
• Support commercial negotiations and maintain procurement documentation.
• Provide procurement advice to ESA customers.
• Contribute to the harmonisation of procurement practices across ESA establishments.

Octagon Professionals International is recruiting six to eight Procurement & Purchasing Officers to provide end-to-end purchasing support for ESA’s Purchase Office Support Service.
