Job summary

Allseas in Delft is looking for a Process Technology Engineer to play a key role in developing innovative solutions for clean energy. You will design and optimize the heat-to-power conversion cycle while collaborating with various specialists.

Process Technology Engineer - Nuclear

Are you ready to play a key role in enabling clean energy for offshore vessels and energy-intensive industries?

At Allseas, you have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology that will shape the future of energy.

Within our Nuclear Department we are developing a 25 MWe high-temperature gas-cooled Small Modular Reactor (SMR). This technology will provide clean, reliable power for large offshore vessels and decarbonise energy-intensive industries onshore. With long refuelling cycles and a compact design, this solution has the potential to be a true game changer for the maritime and industrial sectors.

Your role

As a Process Technology Engineer, you will be at the heart of this innovation. You will take ownership of the heat-to-power conversion cycle, ensuring robust, efficient and compliant system designs. You will work in a highly multidisciplinary environment, collaborating closely with mechanical, nuclear and R&D specialists, as well as external partners and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities
  • Design and develop the conventional heat-to-power cycle
  • Perform system analysis and optimise performance of the conversion process
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and requirements
  • Align your work with other engineering disciplines and integrate feedback
  • Collaborate with and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
