Job summary

Trinseo Netherlands B.V. invites applications for an Internship in Process Development for Advanced Thermoplastic Composite at the Global Innovation Center in Terneuzen.

The six-month program begins as soon as possible and offers hands-on experience in manufacturing science within a global materials company. Applicants are expected to be pursuing a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or related fields, with English fluency and a proactive, collaborative

Qualifications

• Pursuing or in final year of a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Composite Materials, Chemical Engineering, Production Technology, or related field.
• Previous experience with composite manufacturing processes and Design of Experiments (DoE) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to experimental work.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Dutch language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, optimize, and identify the process window.
• Assess and improve impregnation quality using appropriate analytical techniques.
• Characterize and evaluate the mechanical, morphological properties of manufactured samples.
• Documentation.
