Trinseo Netherlands B.V. is seeking an apprentice to join the Global Innovation Center in Terneuzen for a 6-month internship starting as soon as possible, focused on process development for advanced thermoplastic composites.

You will investigate, optimize, and define the process window; assess impregnation quality with analytical techniques; characterize mechanical and morphological properties of produced samples; and maintain thorough documentation as part of a hands-on, collaborative team.

Formación

• Pursuing or final stage of a relevant Bachelor's degree; Master preferred.
• Experience with composite manufacturing and DoE is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with hands-on experimentation.
• Fluency in English required; Dutch is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, optimize, and identify the process window

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing, or in the final stage of, a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Composite Materials, Chemical Engineering, Production Technology, or a related field.
• Previous experience with composite manufacturing processes and Design of Experiments (DoE) is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands‑on approach to experimental work.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Dutch is a preferred.
