Job summary

Trinseo PLC in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Process Control Automation Engineer to optimize our industry 4.0 compounding plant. You will design, simulate and deploy control strategies, and ensure robust operator interfaces and reporting tools in collaboration with Operations, Engineering and IT.

You will guard process control strategy, maintain the IT/OT infrastructure, and train operations staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master of Applied Science Degree in Engineering is required.
Chemical Engineering, E&I or Mechanical is preferred.
3+ years Manufacturing or Engineering experience preferred but we also encourage recently graduated engineers to apply.
Basic Dutch is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, simulate and implement process control automation strategies for the process equipment involved.
Develop functional specifications and Operator Interface graphics when applicable and train operations accordingly.
Maintain and improve the plant automation IT infrastructure in close collaboration with global IT.
Develop Process Control Strategy Documentation.
Be an active member of the operations/engineering team.
Act as plant focal point for IT/OT troubleshooting, projects and rollouts.
Improve Process Control performance.
Give training and startup support on the assigned areas.
