Picnic is seeking a packaging design professional to own artwork updates, mock‑ups, and print‑ready delivery within the Private Label team. You will collaborate with designers, category managers, copywriters, and international partners to ensure packaging meets brand standards and deadlines.

Behind every product on the shelf is a packaging design that needs to feel unmistakably Picnic and make it to print perfectly.That’s where you come in. You’ll work at the heart of our Private Label team, bringing together designers, category managers, copywriters, and external creatives to keep our packaging moving from idea to final artwork. You’ll take ownership of artwork updates, range extensions, and packaging deliverables, while bringing your own creative eye to the table. From reviewing colour proofs to ensuring every detail is print-ready, you’ll help us scale our private label identity without compromising on quality.

Execute and update artworks: Drive updates on existing private label packaging (e.g., cutter adjustments, copy updates, design tweaks, and range extensions) efficiently to keep lead times low.
Mock‑up creation: Produce accurate digital and physical mock‑ups to help cross‑functional teams evaluate design directions effectively.
Stakeholder feedback: Structure design feedback from category managers and creative leads, preparing and executing precise iterations.
File & asset management: Oversee final production files, ensuring structured archiving and seamless handed‑off print assets.
Quality & guideline assurance: Assess artwork and colour proofs to ensure consistency and centralise brand guideline updates across all ranges.
Cross‑functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with experienced designers, photographers, and international business stakeholders.
A minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in Packaging Design, Visual Design, Graphic Design, or Desktop Publishing (DTP).
Deep understanding of print processes, prepress preparation, packaging standards, and colour proofs.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong portfolio demonstrating high precision, technical accuracy, and an eye for packaging aesthetics.
Self‑starter with strong organisational skills and a proactive, "roll up your sleeves" mindset. You thrive in an environment with many moving parts and strict deadlines.
You are fluent in English; written and spoken.
