Picnic in Amsterdam is looking for a Design Coordinator to be the central hub between categories, design teams, and suppliers, driving packaging updates and new launches with speed and accuracy. You'll plan design capacity around upcoming product launches, ensure compliance with packaging laws, and uphold visual excellence while keeping stakeholders aligned and deadlines intact.
Join a fast-paced, collaborative environment with generous benefits, relocation support, and opportunities to shape
Are you the ultimate spider in the web who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment?
At Picnic, we deliver groceries to thousands of households every week. But behind every flawless delivery is a massive operation of creating and improving products. With over 3,000 private label articles, continuous improvements to recipes, and innovative designs, we handle a high volume of packaging updates as well as many new innovative product launches.
We need someone to be the central hub between our teams - someone who can chase people down when needed so we can keep to strict deadlines, ensure seamless product transitions, and maintain quick launch times.
As a Design Coordinator, you are at the heart of our private label packaging process. Your mission is to keep the engine running smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:
Cross-team collaboration: Work closely together with category managers, the design team, and suppliers to ensure seamless switches of packaging.
Dynamic planning: Plan design capacity based on upcoming product launches and dare to adjust planning based on shifting urgency.
Quality & compliance control: Help check the designs to ensure all changes are correctly applied and strictly adhere to relevant packaging laws and regulations.
Visual excellence: Maintain a sharp eye for packaging aesthetics, ensuring all final artwork meets high visual standards while remaining brand-aligned.
Fierce accountability: Dare to challenge stakeholders if they are not keeping to their deadlines or not providing complete documentation to start projects.
Transparent communication: Ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date on timings, planning, and deadlines at all times.
You have at least 2 years of experience, preferably in a project management or coordination role.
You are a natural spider in the web, easily connecting different teams and processes.
You are super structured and thrive in environments with many moving parts and strict deadlines.
You can stand your ground and confidently challenge people when they are not sticking to agreements.
You are a great communicator who combines organizational skills with a proactive, "get-it-done" mindset.
You are fluent in English; fluency in Dutch is highly preferred.
