Job summary

Forma Studio is seeking a Principal UX Designer to own the end-to-end design system and the user research program. You will mentor two mid-level designers and partner with product and engineering leadership to ship enterprise-grade experiences.

The ideal candidate has shipped complex B2B products and treats design as an engineering discipline, producing high-fidelity prototypes, component libraries, and research syntheses for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and govern enterprise-grade design systems from scratch.
• Skilled in qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing, and surveys.
• Advanced Figma skills including auto-layout, variables, and component architecture.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, and C-suite stakeholders.

Forma Studio is building a suite of enterprise productivity tools and needs a Principal UX Designer to own the end-to-end design system and user research programme. You will set the design language, mentor two mid-level designers, and work directly with product and engineering leadership.

The ideal candidate has shipped complex B2B products at scale and believes that great design is an engineering discipline. You will be expected to produce high-fidelity Figma prototypes, component libraries, and research synthesis documents.
