Job summary

Victrix Legion seeks a skilled engineer with TEMPEST testing experience to join our CIS team on-site in the Netherlands. The role requires relevant vocational training with 3 years post-related experience or a secondary qualification with 5 years post-related experience and strong IT knowledge.

You will work on RF analyses, antenna theory, and LAN/security configurations. On-Premises work with potential remote options.

Qualifications

• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience.
• Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience.
• Must have experience within the profile of computer science or information technology.
• Ability to analyses unusual maintenance problems.
• Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of TEMPEST, RF, antenna theory, and wave propagation.
• Understanding IP basics of Local and Wide Area Networking.
• Proficient in the use of general test, measurement and diagnostic equipment.

• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience.
• Must have experience within the profile of computer science or information technology.
• Ability to analyses unusual maintenance problems.
• Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of the following related topics: SDIP 27 "NATO TEMPEST Requirements and Evaluation Procedures"; Spectrum analysis; Radio Frequency (RF) and modulation measurement techniques; Electromagnetic antenna theory; Antenna and wave propagation; Understanding IP basics of Local and Wide Area Networking;
• Proficient in the use of general and standard test, measurement and diagnostic equipment and the procedures for testing to specifications.
• Networking & Cyber Security: Configuration of local area networks (LAN), routing, and foundational security systems.
• Basic knowledge of the following related topics: Working knowledge of ISO-IEC 17025 and other international standards and procedures; Theory knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) laboratory measurements.
• Background in CIS support and/or maintenance with a good understanding of CIS systems
• Experience in database usage and structures, manipulation of database data with SQL
• Trained with certification in the specialization of TEMPEST Testing of CIS equipment or equivalent.
