Job summary

Tellent is seeking a Principal Product Security Engineer to shape how secure software is designed, built, and shipped. You’ll spend substantial time performing threat modelling, vulnerability discovery, and implementing secure-by-default practices across engineering teams.

You will influence the product security roadmap, partner with security and GRC, and help embed security into design, development, and delivery. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that shapes security culture.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering foundation with security focus.
• Hands-on vulnerability discovery and remediation.
• Experience with access control and multi-tenancy.
• Ability to read and write production code across stacks.
• Experience threat modelling real systems and using IaC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep manual security reviews and offensive testing across services, APIs, and clients.
• Threat model highest-risk product surfaces and aid teams in developing the practice.
• Own the technical strategy for application security tooling and reduce false positives.
• Triage vulnerabilities from internal tooling, pen tests, and researchers with defendable severity calls.
• Identify root causes and build systemic fixes and secure-by-default libraries.
