Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Principal Growth Manager based in Amsterdam or London to drive global growth acceleration. You will own the growth strategy, set up an operating model for disciplined experimentation at scale, and be accountable for measurable P&L impact across markets.

About this role

As a Principal Growth Manager, you will be a key driver of growth acceleration across our global markets.You will set the growth strategy, establish the operating model for disciplined experimentation at scale, and be accountable for measurable P&L impact across our markets. You will turn data, market and customer insights into clear priorities, disciplined experimentation, and scalable growth. In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Growth and be based in Amsterdam or London.

Working across C-level, Country Leadership, Product & Tech, Data & Analytics, Marketing, and Finance, you will be the connective tissue. You will lead a structured test-and-learn roadmap across key growth levers, and drive continuous optimization and scaling of what works.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Identify and drive cross functional growth initiatives based on data-driven insights and identified opportunities with measurable P&L impact.
• Champion and embed a culture of experimentation, system thinking and analytical rigor
• Define and maintain a structured testing roadmap across key growth levers: MUB, conversion, retention, and frequency and be accountable for its outcomes.
• Own prioritization of the growth portfolio based on expected impact versus cost and complexity.
• Drive a test-and-learn approach, ensuring continuous optimization and scaling of successful initiatives.
• Track and steer performance against the core growth KPIs: Total Orders; MAU and MUB; Conversion rate; Retention rate; CAC / CPO; and Orders Frequency.
• Partner with Country Leadership and different functions leadership to align and commit to growth initiatives.
• Shape the Product & Tech roadmap with growth insights, opportunity sizing, and prioritization
• Keep JET at the frontier of growth experimentation practices benchmarking and adapting best-in-class approaches
• Define the growth measurement framework with Data & Analytics
• Own the growth experimentation budget and align investment with Finance on efficiency targets.
• Use full access to data and JET's teams to inform growth decisions and execution.
• Own and run the growth operating rhythm from insight to prioritization to scaled execution
• Act as the senior growth authority across markets - the go-to expert on experimentation design, growth framework application, and impact assessment
• Use a dedicated testing budget aligned with the scale of growth opportunities to enable effective experimentation and validation of high-impact initiatives.

What will you bring to the team?

• Demonstrable experience in growth strategy, performance management, experimentation, or a related analytical growth role at Staff level+.
• Track record of owning a growth P&L or a significant share of incremental orders/revenue
• Experience building and leading experimentation programs at scale. Not just participating in tests, but designing the system
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across C level, markets and functions without direct authority
• Experience operating in a multi-market, multi-stakeholder environment by balancing global scale with local nuance
• Bias for ownership and speed - moves from insight to committed action with urgency and rigor
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to define meaningful metrics, interpret performance drivers, and turn insights into actionable opportunities.
• Ability to prioritize initiatives by balancing expected impact with cost and complexity, and to scale learnings from successful tests.
• Understanding of causal impact measurement and the ability to work with Data & Analytics to assess the effectiveness of growth initiatives.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to simplify complex data, strategies, and recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
