Job summary

Start People in the Nijmegen region seeks an industrial blast technician to ensure high-quality metal surfaces through grit-/corundum blasting and protective applications. You will work in a two-shift, 40-hour week, with emphasis on safety and teamwork in a supportive environment.

The role requires experience in metal preservation, knowledge of schoopeering is a plus, and proficiency in Dutch and/or English. The employer emphasizes equal pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal preservation and grit-/corundum blasting.
• Knowledge of schoopeering techniques is a plus.
• Proficiency in Dutch and/or English.
• Willingness to work in 2 shifts.
• Experience with overhead cranes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Preparing metal surfaces to required quality standards.
• Operating blasting equipment to maintain a smooth production flow.
• Applying schoopeering techniques to protect products from wear and corrosion.
• Inspecting products to meet customer expectations.
