Job summary

Utrecht University is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to study responsible scaling of digital innovation in mental healthcare. You will conduct in-depth empirical studies on diffusion pathways, governance, and stakeholder perspectives to improve local implementation.

The position is 0.8-1.0 FTE for 29 months, with a gross monthly salary between €3,706 and €5,760 (CAO NU). You will join an interdisciplinary team within the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development and contribute to

Qualifications

PhD in a relevant field (STS, transition studies, innovation studies, information science, medical humanities or sociology).
Interest in responsible upscaling of digital innovations.
Experience with in-depth social research using mixed-methods or qualitative approaches.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth empirical studies on responsible scaling in digital mental healthcare.
Conceptualize diffusion and scaling theories of innovation and analyse scaling pathways.
Explore future scaling pathways and provide recommendations for contextualized implementation.
Uncover success and failure factors affecting eHealth scaling in mental health.
