University of Groningen invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher in Environmental Psychology, focused on hydrogen as a sustainable energy solution. You will study how people form perceptions and acceptability judgments, informing responsible policy-making and practice.

The role includes leading longitudinal surveys, running experiments, and delivering dissemination outputs to science, industry, and the public, in collaboration with multiple partners across sectors.

Qualifications

• PhD in Environmental Psychology or closely related field.
• Experience with large-scale longitudinal surveys and experimental designs.
• Strong English language skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience with datasets and multi-stakeholder projects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct large-scale longitudinal surveys to study relationships between factors and public perceptions of hydrogen.
• Conduct experimental studies to infer causal relationships related to acceptability of hydrogen.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations for integrating public perceptions into policy-making.
• Carry out dissemination activities to communicate findings to professionals from science and practice, and to the general public.
