Qualifications

• PhD in machine learning, computer science, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, data science or related field.
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills; experience with GPU/HPC.
• Peer‑reviewed AI/medical-informatics research is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead multimodal AI modelling across medical records, CT/MRI, wearables, genomics and proteomics.
• Develop graph/foundation-model representations and uncertainty-aware predictions; perform external validation.
• Coordinate data integration and mentor junior researchers.
• Role offers 36 hours/week with a remuneration of EUR 3,724-5,867 gross per month; contract length may be 12 months or 2 years.
