Job summary

Radboud University invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to join the TOILED project, exploring governance of public toilets and inclusive urban spaces. Qualifications

• PhD in a related field.
• Proven knowledge of public space, social infrastructure, social inclusion and/or diversity.
• Experience with qualitative and/or ethnographic research methods.
• Excellent academic publication record relative to career stage.
• Fluency in English and Dutch for empirical research in Rotterdam.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate comparative research across Rotterdam, Ghent and Ankara.
• Conduct fieldwork in Rotterdam.
• Interview policymakers, toilet providers, maintenance workers, and relevant populations.
• Collaborate with international partners and municipal authorities.
• Translate findings into practical policy recommendations.
