University of Twente is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to develop geophysical subsurface imaging, AI and dynamic digital twins. Applications close on 31 October 2026 at 23:59 Europe/Amsterdam.

Applicants should hold a PhD in geophysics, applied geophysics, Earth sciences, engineering geology, civil engineering, remote sensing or a closely related field.
Experience with geophysical sensing such as GPR, seismic, ERT or electromagnetic methods and quantitative data analysis is expected. Experience with inversion, ML/DL, signal processing, data fusion or digital twins is advantageous.
