Job summary

University of Amsterdam invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to work on Next-Generation Cognitive Testing within an ERC Consolidator grant. You will contribute to theory-driven models, Bayesian cognitive modeling, and software development in a multidisciplinary team here in Amsterdam.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in mathematical psychology or related fields, with strong experience in response-time modeling and reproducible research.

Qualifications

• PhD in mathematical psychology or closely related field is required.
• Experience with response time modeling and evidence-accumulation models preferred.
• Proficiency in Bayesian hierarchical methods and reproducible research practices expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop adaptive evidence-accumulation models for cognitive tasks.
• Integrate models within a Bayesian hierarchical framework with learning and alertness models.
• Implement and maintain software for fitting and applying the models.
