Job summary

Erasmus University Rotterdam’s Rotterdam School of Management seeks a policy and continuous improvement professional to act as custodian of the RSM maturity model. You will report to the Executive Director Quality and Innovation and support programme stakeholders with evidence-driven improvements.

Your role involves developing frameworks aligned with accreditation requirements, coordinating the improvement cycle, and guiding senior teams while maintaining pragmatic, non-hierarchical influence.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher required.
• Demonstrated experience drafting policy documents, frameworks or governance instruments that are adopted.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders without formal authority.
• Strong knowledge of accreditation and QA in higher education; LOA an advantage.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives; AI tools for analysis and reporting.
• Proficient in English (C1); Dutch preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain policies, frameworks and standards for continuous improvement at RSM.
• Coordinate and report on programme maturity and improvement actions for accreditation evidence.
• Guide programme stakeholders and lead improvement initiatives across levels without direct authority.
• Handle longer-term policy dossiers and respond quickly to regulatory or school initiatives.
