Job summary

Catawiki is seeking a Platform Engineer to shape and execute our long-term platform vision. You’ll work at the intersection of development, infrastructure, and operations to deliver reliable, scalable and secure software platforms.

You’ll build a self-service developer platform, orchestrate cloud-native infrastructure with Kubernetes, and enhance CI/CD, observability, and cost efficiency while partnering with product teams across Catawiki.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Experience automating workflows and CI/CD with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Hands-on observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry.
• Strong ownership and accountability for platform issues and resilience.
• Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams to deliver simple, impactful solutions.
• Continuous learning of cloud-native tools and practices in a fast-moving ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Build a self-service developer platform with focus on developer experience.
• Orchestrate cloud-native infrastructure including Kubernetes and cloud resources.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and reusable templates.
• Improve platform reliability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Improve observability and incident response to reduce toil.
• Collaborate with product teams to champion cloud-native practices.
