Job summary

TomTom’s Developer Enablement & Security team within Platform Engineering builds and maintains the tools engineers use to write, build, store, and secure code. The role spans GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, automation, and AI governance to keep the secure path the easy path.

You will automate tasks with Python/Bash, develop GitHub Actions, and manage platform configuration as code while helping developers adopt safe AI tooling and practices.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in DevOps, platform, build or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience scripting in Python or Bash and calling REST APIs.
• Understanding CI/CD pipelines and package publishing.
• Knowledge of multiple package ecosystems (Maven/Gradle, npm, PyPI, Docker, NuGet).
• Linux and networking troubleshooting skills.
• Some IaC experience with Terraform or similar tool.

Responsibilities

• Administer and automate GitHub Enterprise across a large repository estate.
• Operate and improve JFrog Artifactory with hybrid cloud setup.
• Replace repetitive work with Python/Bash automation and REST calls.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows and support pipelines.
• Manage platform configuration as code with Terraform.
• Use AI tools to speed up automation and assist developers safely.
• Take ownership of well-defined platform tasks end-to-end.
• Troubleshoot DNS, TLS, proxies and authentication for developers.
• Write and maintain docs and runbooks for self-help.
• Explain platform policies clearly to developers.
