Job description

• Company: International producer of high-volume and bespoke small-batch printing, packaging, promotional gifts, direct mail and related products/services. Further info can of course be shared very openly and very early with candidates that proceed in process
• Location/flexibility: Northern Netherlands, eg Drenthe, Groningen, Noord-Holland, Friesland, Overijssel, Flevoland etc.
• Package: depending on experience , but guideline senior six-figure package

WHO MIGHT MATCH THIS JOB BEST?

• Relevant backgrounds: Plant Director | Site Director | Operations Director | Manufacturing Director | Production Director — or Senior Manager /Head of equivalents. General Managers and Managing Directors are also of course relevant as this role will lead the operational, financial, people and strategic sides of the business.
• Operational complexity: Comfortable managing both high-volume production and important bespoke/small-batch work
• Scale: Experience with plants of roughly 5,000–50,000 m² and 50–500 people could be relevant. These are broad guidelines as the mentality of the leader and complexity matter more than purely comparing the numbers.
• Leadership mindset: Strong interest in innovation, data and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing | Six Sigma | OpEx | TPM
• Languages: Native/fluent Dutch ideal for local teams & fluent English desired given the international nature of the business.
