Job summary

Intro EU Staffing is seeking experienced Shopfitter/Pipefitter for a modern workshop in Sliedrecht, handling fabrication and assembly of maritime and industrial piping systems. You will read isometric drawings, fit pipes, and collaborate with welders and inspectors to ensure quality.

Applicants should have proven pipefitting experience, the ability to read drawings, and preferably a VCA certificate. The role offers long-term, full-time work with training opportunities and transport/accommodation

About the job:

Are you an experienced Pipefitter who enjoys working on high-quality marine and industrial piping systems? Can you read isometric drawings and assemble complex pipework with precision? Then we are looking for you!

For one of our leading clients in Sliedrecht, The Netherlands, we are looking for 4 Shopfitters / Pipefitters to join a modern workshop environment. You will be involved in the fabrication and assembly of piping systems for the maritime, offshore and industrial sectors.

What will you do?

As a Shopfitter / Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting pipe systems based on technical drawings and specifications. You will work closely with welders, quality inspectors and fellow craftsmen to ensure every project meets the highest standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Reading and interpreting isometric and technical drawings
• Assembling and fitting pipes, bends, flanges, tees and related components
• Preparing, aligning and tack welding pipe sections where required
• Checking dimensions and ensuring quality throughout the assembly process
• Working with materials such as Stainless Steel, CuNiFer, (Super) Duplex and Carbon Steel
• Collaborating with welders and quality control inspectors
• Following safety procedures and quality standards at all times

You have it:

• Experience as a Shopfitter, Pipefitter or Piping Fitter
• Ability to read and work from isometric drawings
• Experience in shipbuilding, offshore, industrial or piping environments
• Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one

Preferred:

• Experience with TIG tack welding
• Knowledge of pressure testing and leak testing
• Experience with Stainless Steel, Duplex and CuNiFer piping systems
