Job summary

Amsterdam UMC invites applications for a Promovendus Opti Care Trial, a PhD researcher position evaluating ankle-foot orthoses for children with cerebral palsy. The role is spread across five Dutch centres and includes recruitment, measurements, and cost-effectiveness analyses. The contract starts with 12 months and is intended to extend to four years seven months.

The workload is 32 hours per week, with a gross monthly salary between €3,217 and €4,077. Fluent Dutch and English are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s in movement science, health science, physiotherapy science or similar.
• Excellent Dutch and English.
• Experience in clinical research and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and measurements across five centres.
• Assess walking outcomes and other clinical endpoints.
• Analyze data and contribute to publication.
• Assist in planning and management of trial logistics.
