Job summary

Radboud University in Nijmegen seeks a motivated PhD student to develop open-source MRI sequences for myelin water imaging (MWI) and beyond. The project uses Pulseq across 1.5T, 3T, and 7T, with clinical relevance in neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory diseases.

You will work in an international, interdisciplinary team on sequence development, reconstruction methods, and open-source platforms, requiring strong physics, MRI, and programming skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physics, biomedical engineering, medical imaging, or related field.
• Strong MRI physics background, sequence development and image reconstruction experience.
• Experience programming in MATLAB or Python.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent English written and oral communication.
