Job summary

ARCNL, located at Amsterdam Science Park, invites applications for a four-year full-time PhD project in Computational Optical Imaging. The work combines optical experiments with algorithm development to achieve 3D lensless imaging using ptychography, structured illumination, and fiber-based detection.

You will build and optimize ptychography setups with visible light, SLMs and multimode fibers, and develop reconstruction algorithms with compressive sensing and machine learning for depth-resolved

Qualifications

• MSc degree in physics, optics, photonics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D lensless imaging approaches based on ptychography, structured illumination, and fiber-based detection.
• Build and optimize ptychography setups using visible light, spatial light modulators, and multimode fibers.
• Develop reconstruction algorithms using compressive sensing and data-driven machine learning for depth-resolved 3D imaging.
• Collaborate with ASML on wafer metrology for the project.
