Join the Department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) as a PhD candidate within the Marie Sklodowska-CurieDoctoral Network PREFERENCE. The project focuses on advancing PET/CT imaging for the detection of early-stage infection and inflammation.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of leading experts in molecular imaging and collaborate with an international network of academic and industrial partners. The programme includes secondments at leading European institutions, training activities, conference participation, scientific publications and the development of innovative imaging methods with clinical impact.
Candidates should hold an MSc degree in Physics, Medical Physics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Experience with programming (e.g. Python or C++) and image analysis is considered an advantage.
