Job summary

University Medical Center Groningen seeks a Clinical Physicist (RNG or AKF) to join the NGMB department in Groningen. The role covers clinical work, research, and innovation, with opportunities to coordinate safety analyses and contribute to education.

The ideal candidate has radiology and nuclear medicine experience, holds RNG or is eligible for Dutch recognition, and may pursue PhD-related research within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical work, research and innovation in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
• Coordinate radiation safety for research studies.
• Calibrate and quantify equipment for pharmacokinetic modelling.
• Supervise students, PhD candidates, and staff.
• Manage software use and AI applications within the department.
