Job summary

Biosynth is seeking a scientifically minded Project Manager to own customer projects from planning through delivery. You will coordinate across internal teams and customers to ensure scope, milestones, and expectations are clearly understood and managed throughout the lifecycle.

The role involves supporting GMP activities and developing project management processes within a growing global life science company, with a focus on peptide and GMP capabilities.

Qualifications

• MSc in Chemistry or closely relevant scientific discipline is essential; a PhD in Chemistry or Biological Sciences would be advantageous.
• Previous, relevant professional experience.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of peptide chemistry, including peptide synthesis and development/manufacturing.
• Thorough knowledge of GMP.
• Experience working with quality management systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally SAP.
• Structured and independent approach to work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while taking ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality standards.
• Lead project teams and coordinate scope, milestones and deliverables.
• Act as key point of contact for customers with regular updates and clear reports.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure GMP and global regulatory compliance within life sciences.
• Prepare GMP and project management documentation.
• Support customer acquisition through technical input on calls and proposal preparation.
• Lead project close-out and capture lessons learned.
