Job summary

The Center for Pediatric Therapies (CPT) seeks a Pediatric Physical Therapist to assess and treat pediatric patients in outpatient settings. You will document patient conditions and educate families in therapy methods, collaborating with OTs, SLPs, service coordinators, and teachers.

This full-time role primarily supports our Forest outpatient clinic, with Monday–Wednesday Early Intervention and Thursday–Friday Clinic. Hours are 8:00–6:00 with flexibility; PTA supervision may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school.
• Current Virginia license as a Physical Therapist or in process for PTA licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in pediatric physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat pediatric patients with various disorders.
• Document patient condition and progress.
• Educate patients and families in appropriate therapy methods.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (OTs, SLPs, service coordinators, teachers).

Come join our passionate multidisciplinary team! The Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with a variety of disorders. The PT must document and record the patient s condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy methods. The PT collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including OTs, SLPs, service coordinators, and teachers. PTA supervision may be required. This position would be located primarily from our Forest outpatient clinic. Monday - Wednesday Early Intervention, Thursday - Friday Clinic. Hours are 8: 00-6: 00 (Flexible). The Physical Therapist will serve children in our outpatient clinics and the Early Intervention program.

Qualifications Must have graduated from an accredited school Current Virginia license as a Physical Therapist or proactively in the process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant Current CPR certification Valid driver's license Experience in pediatric physical therapy
