As a PCBA Tester, you are responsible for testing and verifying high-end electronic modules, printed circuit board assemblies and subsystems. You ensure that products meet the required technical and quality standards before they leave production.
You will work with various test systems and methods, analyze test results and identify deviations. Depending on your experience, you will also be involved in troubleshooting complex failures, repairing components and identifying opportunities to improve products and processes.
Test preparation
- Interpret product documentation, test specifications and work instructions.
- Prepare and configure test setups and equipment.
- Ensure test systems are correctly configured before testing.
Testing
- Perform various tests on PCBAs, electronic modules and subsystems.
- Work with test methods such as connectivity, High Voltage, functional, RF, Flying Probe and IC testing.
- Program and operate different test systems.
- Record test results and complete the required quality documentation.
Troubleshooting
- Perform initial checks when test results deviate from specifications.
- Analyze failures using schematics, technical drawings and test results.
- Troubleshoot complex failures depending on your level of experience.
- Repair or replace components in accordance with IPC standards.
- Investigate customer complaints and identify recurring or structural issues.
- Inspect products and correct identified production errors.
- Accurately document all performed activities.
- Contribute ideas for improving testing, production processes and product quality.
- Share technical knowledge and support colleagues.
What do we expect from you?
- A completed MBO level 3/4 or HBO education in Electronics or a comparable technical discipline.
- Broad technical knowledge of electronics, electrical engineering and mechanics.
- Experience with testing electronic products or PCBAs is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Accurate and structured way of working.
- Quality-conscious and able to work according to procedures and specifications.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to continuously develop your technical knowledge.
- You enjoy working in a team and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
