Partnership Development Lead – Private and Corporate Foundations

Aantal uren This is a paid position for 32 hours per week.

Plaats 's-Hertogenbosch, at a beautiful workplace in a monastery, just a 5-minute walk from 's-Hertogenbosch station.

Together with partners in Africa and Asia, Liliane Fonds has been making the living, playing and learning world of children with disabilities more accessible for more than 40 years. We contribute to a society in which everyone can participate.

To establish new connections and fostering relationships, bring parties together to develop joint propositions and to help us achieve an ambitious growth strategy we are looking for aPartnership Development Lead with a focus onPrivate and Corporate Foundations.

We embrace diversity because we believe that a diverse workforce leads to the best results. A positive organizational culture is essential; therefore, we make extra efforts to create an inclusive work environment where everyone feels welcome, seen, and valued. In line with our mission.

Liliane Fonds improves the quality of life and prospects of children with disabilities in Africa and Asia. We believe participation is a right – not a privilege. We aim to use our expertise in education, health care, rehabilitation, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and livelihoods to set up large-scale community based rehabilitation programs that offer sustainable solutions to pressing social issues. In order to further diversify our funding, specifically from Private and Corporate Foundations we are looking for an experienced colleague to strengthen our Institutional Fundraising team.

As Partnership Development Lead you will develop new relationships, partnerships and proposals to fund and implement projects of Liliane Fonds and its partners in the Global South. The position has a specific objective to develop partnerships with Dutch and international Private and Corporate Foundations. This way, you, in collaboration with your colleagues from the Programmes department, will contribute to structural change and to an inclusive society in the countries where we operate.

What are you going to do?

  • Identify opportunities for partnerships with Private and Corporate Foundations, with the aim of future collaboration and fundraising for projects of Liliane Fonds.
  • Together with colleagues and partner organisations, you convert these opportunities into competitive and high quality funding proposals.
  • Develop and maintain a broad network of funders from Foundations and other Institutional Funders and potential partners in Europe and the Global South;
  • Map out existing calls, subsidy schemes, and funds, and advise colleagues and strategic partners of Liliane Fonds about funding possibilities.
  • Coordinate the development of funding applications. You do this in collaboration with thematic and country experts, our partner organisations, and colleagues from different departments.

You will be part of the Institutional Fundraising team (IF) within the Programmes department. In addition to your four team members, you will frequently collaborate in multidisciplinary teams. You will report to the Coordinator IF.

You are an excellent and seasoned networker; you have the ability to represent Liliane Fonds well and create fundraising opportunities. You perform effectively in an environment where processes are still under development, you are solution oriented and feel comfortable working as a pioneer. You have up-to-date knowledge on developments and trends in the development sector and are able to use this knowledge to formulate a strategy and put it into action.

Furthermore you have:

  • An academic thinking level and relevant work experience.
  • An extensive network of contacts within the Dutch and international funding landscape, specifically among Private and Corporate Foundations or the ability to build on and further expand this network.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with donors and other (I)NGOs in Europe and the Global South.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing partnerships and propositions.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing, at C1/C2 level or a willingness to develop these language skills to the required level.
  • Affinity with and knowledge of the position of marginalised groups.
  • Meet all the legal requirements to work in the EU.

Finally, you recognise yourself in the four core values of Liliane Fonds: equity, connection, courage and action.

At Liliane Fonds, you work for an organisation with a clear mission: to improve the lives of children with disabilities in the poorest parts of the world. We offer an inspiring, inclusive workplace and good working conditions, with an eye for your personal wishes and circumstances.

You will receive a salary between € 3.373,- and € 5.422,- gross per month (based on full-time employment of 38 hours per week, excluding indexation as of January 2027).

You will get a temporary appointment for 12 months with the prospect of a permanent contract subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.

We are open to discuss different contracting modalities.

The current eNPS (employee Net Promoter Score) of the Liliane Fonds is very high (September 2026), which means that the vast majority of our employees would recommend the Liliane Foundation as an employer to a friend or acquaintance.
