Job summary

De Pijp Boutique Hotel in Amsterdam zoekt een nights-receptionist die als enige waakpunt dient tijdens de late uren en vroege ochtend. U beheert late aankomsten, vroege vertrekken, veiligheid en vroege ontbijtdoorlooptijden met hoge precisie.

De rol vereist zelfstandigheid en toewijding aan premium boutique-normen, met mogelijkheid tot een parttime dienstverband en correcte naleving van Horeca-CAO en nachtdiensttoeslagen.

Qualifications

• Vloeiende Engelse taal (schriftelijk en mondeling).
• Reeds ervaring in hotelnacht/ front desk is een plus.
• Goede nauwkeurigheid en verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel.

Responsibilities

• Verantwoordelijk voor nachtelijke receptione en gastenontvangst tussen 00:00–08:00.
• Uitvoeren van veiligheidscontroles en basis ontbijtvoorbereidingen.
• Beheer van laat- en vroeginstappen en incidenten volgens premium boutique-standaarden.

De Pijp Boutique Hotel is a premium, intimate design hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam's most vibrant neighborhood. Because we are a small boutique property with a close-knit team, our night staff plays a crucial role in maintaining high‑end guest satisfaction, safety, and operational excellence while the city sleeps.

Position Summary

As our Night Receptionist, you are the sole guardian of the hotel during the late‑night and early‑morning hours (typically from 00:00 to 08:00). You will manage late arrivals, early departures, safety checks, and basic food and beverage preparation for the morning. This role requires high autonomy, a sharp eye for detail, and an absolute commitment to maintaining our premium boutique standards.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience in hotel night auditing, front desk operations, or security/hospitality service is highly preferred.
• Reliability & Accountability: You are someone who understands that a small team relies heavily on your precision. You do not cut corners and take your job tasks seriously.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Dutch or another European language is a great bonus.
• Legal Status: You must hold a valid EU passport or an unrestricted Dutch work permit with a valid BSN. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
