Job summary

Keiron is seeking a Financial Controller to own the accounting for Dutch and US entities, lead close processes, and strengthen internal controls. You will partner with the CFO on management, board, and investor reporting, and support fundraising efforts, due diligence, and audits in a dynamic scale-up environment.

The role requires experience in international accounting, strong Excel and NetSuite skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in accounting or financial control, preferably within an accountancy firm or international organisation.
• Experience with closing processes and AO/IC; consolidation or international entity experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel and ERP or accounting system skills, preferably NetSuite; affinity with AI agents and automation is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting and closing processes for Dutch and US entities.
• Manage consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and currency differences.
• Establish, document, and improve AO/IC and internal controls.
• Prepare monthly management, board, and investor reporting with the CFO.
• Coordinate fundraising support, due diligence, and data room management.
• Coordinate tax, VAT, and compliance in NL and US; work with tax advisers.
• Coordinate external US partners, including payroll providers.
