Job summary

Finst seeks an experienced, hands-on Compliance Officer based in Amsterdam to strengthen our internal compliance function and support MiCAR, AML/CFT, and Dutch/European regulatory requirements. You will report to the Chief Compliance Officer, work with the Anti-Financial Crime team and Board, and help design, embed, and scale our control environment in a fast-growing crypto-asset business.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Compliance/Risk functions within financial services or crypto-asset sector.
• Fluent English, additional European languages (Dutch) a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to design and enhance compliance processes and control frameworks.
• Strong understanding of MiCAR, AML/CFT, and related regulatory landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Advise the business on compliance and regulatory matters, monitoring adherence to policies and legal requirements.
• Support licensing and regulatory applications and engagement with authorities in NL and other jurisdictions.
• Monitor crypto-asset regulatory developments (MiCAR, related frameworks) and translate changes into practical guidance.
• Develop and enhance compliance policies and procedures to align with laws and regulations.
• Provide strategic compliance advice to the Chief Compliance Officer and Management Board.
• Collaborate with Anti-Financial Crime to maintain a robust control framework.
