Onward Search Education partners with school districts across the country to connect dedicated education professionals with meaningful opportunities. We’re currently partnering with a school district in Boulder County, Colorado to hire a Paraprofessional / RBT for the 2026/2027 school year.

This full-time role (about 35 hours/week) will support moderate needs PK–5 classrooms, primarily 2nd–3rd grade, with competitive pay of $27–$30 per hour.

Qualificações

• Paraeducator experience and/or RBT certification.
• Minimum 2 years of special education in a public-school classroom.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comfortable in a mountain community setting.
• Flexible, collaborative, and a team player.

Responsabilidades

• Provide instructional and classroom support under the direction of a certified teacher/special education team.
• Support students academically in 1:1 and/or small-group settings to reinforce classroom learning.
• Implement behavior supports and follow student plans (as applicable), using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.
• Assist with classroom routines, materials prep, and transitions throughout the school day.
• Monitor and document student progress/behavior observations and communicate updates to the supervising team.
• Support a safe, inclusive environment during classroom and non-classroom times (arrival/dismissal, transitions, etc.).

This role will support moderate needs classrooms (PK–5), with most support focused on 2nd–3rd grade students.

• Location: On-site
• School Year: 2026/2027
• Schedule/Hours: Full-time — ~35 hours/week (working hours approx. 8:30am–3:30pm)
• Schedule: Approximately 8:30am–3:30pm, student attendance days
• Pay Range:$27–$30/hour
