Job summary

Danone NL is seeking a Packaging Procurement Intern for our Hoofddorp office starting September 2026. You will join the Packaging Procurement Team and support projects around Flexibles Direct & Indirect Food Contact Packaging, collaborating with procurement, packaging and supplier teams.

Ideal candidates are Bachelor/Master students, fluent in English, available to start in September for at least 6 months, and able to work from Hoofddorp 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
• Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number.
• For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
• Available to start in September for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze complex data from various sources (i.e. EU cost benchmarks).
• Explore and recommend identified efficiency opportunities and support the business with implementations.
• Present the conclusions and recommendations in a structured and effective way to stakeholders.
• Building market knowledge and intelligence related to Flexibles Packaging, with that identifying new sourcing opportunities.
• Collect and structure innovations in Packaging and share them within the organization.
• Keep up to date project planning overview for dynamic cross country / platform projects while managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Co-lead and support global RFP/RFQ events.
• Support operational procurement activities like contract lifecycle management, price-list management etc

Join us as our new Packaging Procurement Intern in our Hoofddorp office starting September 2026!

In this internship, you will be part of the Packaging Procurement Team, within our Procurement organization. Our purpose is to secure innovative, sustainable, and competitive packaging solutions that support Danone's business ambitions. During this internship, you will collaborate with procurement, packaging, and supplier teams and support projects and strategic initiatives for Flexibles Direct & Indirect Food Contact Packaging.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Collect and analyze complex data from various sources (i.e. EU cost benchmarks);

About You

We are looking for Bachelor/Master students in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Engineering or related fields. You are highly motivated and proactive. You have strong communication skills and like being in touch with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally. You are a self-starter, curious, and you are not afraid to share your opinion or ask questions when needed. You have proficient knowledge of Excel that can be used for efficient data analysis, and analytical skills to transform data into useful insights. Also, you are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment that continuously challenges you.
