Job summary

Yokogawa Netherlands B.V. is seeking an OT Consultant to advise industrial clients on digital transformation and safe operations in refining and chemical plants.

You will translate field experience into actionable roadmaps, balance safety with operability, and support organizational transformation. You will work with site teams, architects, and business stakeholders to build compelling business cases and drive long-term value across European clients, with a focus on the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Experience in refinery, chemical plant, or high-hazard industrial environments.
• Proficiency in process safety, functional safety, and on-site decision making.
• Experience in consultancy or project delivery with client-facing roles.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to present a business case.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to industrial clients for OT and digital transformation.
• Lead operational assessments and discovery engagements with real site experience.
• Develop and present business cases and strategic roadmaps with safety as core.
• Support client restructuring of operations as part of transformation programs.
• Act as the link between client requirements and Yokogawa architects.
• Stay ahead on trends in industrial autonomy, safety, cybersecurity, energy transition.
• Show background in refinery/chemical ops and later consultancy experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of process safety frameworks: HAZOP, SIL, IEC 61511.
• Show track record of billable client work.
• Exposure to wind or energy transition projects valued.
